I want to find a new job asap but it has not been easy with being in the office everyday. For those who have quit to spend more time on the job search, do you have any tips?

@@3fcj+1tosjxT6 you must be referring to FD people and not originals. Originals have had a lot of employees remote since the 2000's. Pandemic didn't cause the WFH and now centers have closed so those people have no choice to relocate or get riffed. Get your facts straight and stop giving inaccurate information.
Wise man said, don't run from an opportunity, run towards a new opportunity. Don't leave your family exposed.
Yes you should quit. FirstDataFiserv is run by First Data toxic clowns. Flipping burgers at McDonalds is a step up.
People are ridiculous. How did you survive before WFH was a thing? Do people really not know how to function with a M-F 9-5 job anymore? It’s laughable that people act like the world has ended all because you work in an office which you did forever until 2020. Get over it and figure it out like an adult. We all did it before 2020.
Just explain your RTO situation to your new company. And they can work with you. You can do first thing in the morning or last thing in the day interviews and flex your hours to make it work.
you should be aware that the job market is terrible right now. it’s not easy to find a new job especially white collar jobs.
Don't quit your job unless you absolutely have to. It probably won't end up making things much easier and it will add to your stress, since you will no longer have an income. Use PTO or block off time on your calendar for "appointments". Unless you're interviewing with multiple companies a week, this should be fine. Try to get referrals from past coworkers, it will be the most sure fire way to get interviews.
If you believe you’ll eventually get a job then use your PTO for interviews. What are you saving it for?
I've always been told never leave a job before you have another one. I don't know your situation but I'm still here and I'm trying to average at least 21 job applications every 7 days. One tip I have is to look at the companies people who used to work for Fiserv are at now. You can do this on LinkedIn.
