When a PHD narcissist is running the show and has zero empathy for anyone with dissenting voices, just cares about bros and besties. Yes, MN is highly educated but this does not equate to being a good effective leader. Neither being tall, blonde, good looking and a smooth talker. I’ll bet you he’s connected to all those top leaders that are as ineffective as himself. And by the way, instead of leading innovation by science, he leads by his narcissistic tendencies - the play ground bully. MN cannot lead the Lab or innovation - off the cliff may be…..

Pre covid layoffs -- He laid off a veteran and very respected principal researcher, and ignored some amazing internal talent to external hire his highly underqualified friend.
Did the same thing again this layoffs -- laid off another veteran principal, only to post opening to hire yet again someone to do the job of this unqualified friend. Will definitely be another external friend hire.
It's honestly not uncommon to see this behavior all over Nike. Instead of talent that pushes for innovation, people in power just look to surround themselves to build the kingdom around them. That's how the company got saturated with toxic buzz word spewers and backstabbers over the years. Then JD gets to blame a lack of innovation for the company's downfall.

NSRL should be the heart of innovation within Nike. MN has turned it into a dumpster of work besties... Friends promoting friends. Party planners self promoting themselves by taking credit from doers. The guy has a PhD he is smart he sees all these and do nothing about it. Some times one is guilty because of things he or she does. Sometimes one is guilty for seeing things and not doing anything about it at all. He has surrounded himself by folks who agree with him. Anyone who disagrees with him or confronts him is quickly managed out....

@hgi+1tktqcX8 I am not the OP but thought I answer your question. MN deserve to be fired because he let's his manager to act based on nepotism and not based on performance. If you have been around NSRL long enough, you should know about many talented researchers who were let go for no legit reason under his direction! Just recently let go a principal researcher only to open another principal researcher position! We see this. We remember.

@hgi+1tktqcX8 You either do not work at NSRL, or you are a Sr Dir fishing for info or you have not been around NSRL long enough to know what he did to researchers and to innovation so get the f out!

You keep posting the same message basic message stated slightly differently, but you never provide specifics on what this fireable offense is. You gotta be more specific or you just sound sorta crazy.
