Robinhood Siphoning Schwab Talent

🚀 Big moves in the finance world! Robinhood is attracting top talent from Charles Schwab and Fidelity to bolster its ranks. Already 20 people in DFW ditched Charlie for Vlad. By bringing on experienced professionals like Steve Quirk from TD Ameritrade, Robinhood is gearing up to enhance its platform and possibly venture into more advanced trading features like futures and forex. Is this the start of a new era for Robinhood?

Think or Swim is available to any company that wants to buy it. We didn't need to absorb TDA to get it. It's known to be developed by the Russians yes (look up devexperts for more info). Nothing happened to the TDA CEO, because there was no loss or theft of data that we know of.

Whoa tda used Russian developers for thinkorswim?!!? And still do? Schwab should never have bought such a pathetic company that needed hostile workers from a country like Russia. How could you trust anyone from Russia? This is insane!

RH and other money management firms - where ex-laid off or unfairly terminated Schwab employees are now employed at - will come back and destroy Schwab. Not that Schwab isn't doing it to itself already with its sh*tty business models / platforms.

@Glad2beGone TOS still uses Russian coders. There's a special firewall around those systems because of that. What is the Michigan team is doing? 2014 was 10 years ago.

@utn+1tkcfnLu I hope I am not telling tales out of school, but TDA lost a CEO due to the TOS environment's reliance on overseas resources. (2014, Crimea... risk exposure)... That's why the Ann Arbor office exists and yes -- they can code. Quite well, thank you. Of course, it would be just like Schwab to shut that all down...

The people that wrote the origional code for Schwab's trading platform and the various widgets that feed the .com are long gone. Only people left are the 2nd-5th gen maintainers.

Can TDA survivors write code? They farm out the main trading platform work to non-employees.

RobinHood is a cancer. I don't have any love lost for Schwab, but RH is even worse.

Vice Veraa, when the RobinHood office in Tempe, AZ opened, they took a plethora of people from the Phoenix, AZ (both reps and managers) and now they all no longer work for RobinHood since they shut down the Tempe, AZ office and were all laid off.

Rinse and repeat.
