Anyone have any insight of Dental will be effected by layoffs again next round?

Yes. Things are not good in Dental. And unfortunately the new leader over Dental, etc. (Amie Benedict) isn’t cutting it and doesn’t have the respect of her team. She is proving to be a micro-manager who is just focused on managing up and appearances. She doesn't really understand the business and isn’t letting her direct reports and other managers lead. This is the leadership model that CVS Aetna rewards now. It’s depressing.

Why wouldn’t dental be affected? The tactic of building in and defending ineffective inefficiency in nearly every process it has is not winning business nor is it profitable. Every reasonable suggestion to improve is met with resistance. Might as well smash it and force a rebuild.

Yes, The Dental org will have layoffs. Network is terrible & has been for some time. Update your resume.

Dental layoffs? Don't think so. Dental is the crown of the CVS enterprise. May need to drill down into the organization though to understand if a FTE cleaning is in order. I would advise brushing up your resume, just in case. Too many layoffs and it will leave a cavity in the org that cannot be filled. Cheers!
