I can't image the BOD putting up with another 6 months to a year of dismal gains. I give JD a max of 6 months but I can't image anything positive happening in the next 6 months either. He's dead man walking, lame duck, who replaces him at this point?
I don't see them going external after this gaff again, but who do we have on the bench to step up to the occasion? Whoever does, they'll likely want their folks leading the crowds... so more lay offs when morale is so low?
No easy button here, outside of the decision that JD has to go.
