I’m being told to tell my branch leaders to get their laptops home during a hurricane because we will expect them to work from home during a hurricane, even through an evacuation for those branch leaders I have in evacuation zones. Some of my branch leaders don’t have home internet and others don’t consent to using it or their electricity for company purposes. Is the bank going to be allowing them to expense fancy hotels with internet for them? Like they do for others? Will they be paying stipends for office space, internet and electricity? Or are they going to use us to shame and scare them through fear into purchasing home WiFi for official Truist business purposes. I despise being the middle person between hard news but I know my BL aren’t going to like this messaging because this is the second or third time I’m being told to relay it. What a shady business practice and unscrupulous company methodology.
