May be controversial but as someone who is laid off and does not have lifetime discount benefit, may I sell my existing Nike clothes and shoes? Is there anything that says I cannot?
I bought a serious amount the past years because I was going to wear them going to the office but y’know ha ha

the truck here as someone that works at Nike is to use a different name and all will be fine. sell under a sibling or anyone with a different last name. I've had the Van purchases that I got buyers remorse from and ended selling them for a pretty penny on third party selling platforms like offerup or eBay.
i was selling product even while I work there LOL. they barely caught a VPs son reselling millions. I doubt they care about the few hundred bucks you'll make selling on Craigslist, offerup, eBay etc.
1099K limit is
$5k in profits
If you are selling on StockX or Goat, etc, there is no way Nike can see inside their sales order database. Those companies don’t share that data with the shoe vendors. Even the big hack in 2021 didn’t expose names. Sell anything you bought anytime whether you are / aren’t employed. There is no way anybody outside of these resell platforms could get names and amounts. Additionally there are so many exchanges between consumers that nothing could be tracked. You’re fine, sell it all but do beware of the Form K of Profits if you exceed the limit.
Did u get laid off b/c u cant make a decision?
As a fellow employee affected by the layoff I do wonder what do we do with all this gear. It was highly encourage to wear Nike gear to the office. I was once very proud to be a Nike employee but the laid off definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth and honestly I don't think I would be purchasing any Nike gear moving forward. As the quality and style has gone down hill. Just as everyone been saying there is no innovation with new style and they are just reselling the same styles over and over again.
What does Nike gonna do to you? fire you? come on! you gotta do what you gotta do
Yes. You can and you should.
You darn well sure can, I have bins of stuff I can’t wait to unload when the time comes
