“I just took Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, so I don’t have to go in, shouldn’t show up on the report with 3 PTO days.”

The fact that we even have to do this is sad. I’ve been using caregiver days (still working) just to give myself a break from the commute.

“Our upper management had made it extremely clear that 3 days are required this coming week. Went out of their way to do so. They hate nothing more than having non compliance on that report.”

Must be nice to only be concerned about 3 days, I have to go in 5 but I do like getting that direct deposit every 2 weeks so, guess I’ll comply. Only 4 days this week though, wooho!

Stanley and C-suite required to go in three days minimum no matter what irregardless of sick time., vacation time, and holidays. Holidays are no longer a time of joy working at this company. Welcome to the stinky New World order

I'm taking my chances and not going in at all.

3 days! Isn’t it so fun working for a company with id--tic and pointless policies?!

Unfortunately, you still have to go in 3 days despite the holiday.

That being said, if your plan was to not come in 3 days this week, don't bother going in at all. Stay home. You don't get credit for going in 2 days, so you'd just be wasting your own time commuting only to be marked tardy for the week.

They won't say anything as long as you're not repeatedly skipping multiple weeks. If you've been coming in the last 5 weeks, go ahead and skip.

Apparently they’ve been quietly monitoring everyone’s badge scans since RTO. Just ask the person you report to if they care that you come in at all next week lol.

Go in 2 days. Should be fine.

Two days. The Holiday counts as a day worked, not PTO. If you want to go in three you can, but only have to do 2.

Of course it’s 3. You aren’t going to be in the office on the 4th.
