Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Layoffs next week?

There was talk a while ago about layoffs at the start of July, what happened to that? Has it been proven wrong or not? Should we worry about next week?

Wait, did someone below just complain about another layoff post - on a site named thelayoff.com?

Some round seemed to have happened between Thu, Friday 29th. But without official confirmation, nothing can be confirmed. Can't say for sure if it is limited to certain business. Chatters are less here, probably because most active posters aren't with the bank or the posters are from specific segment like technology since a lot of posts seems to be from tech.

"It's been almost five years with the axe hanging over our head."

Think about what you just wrote. What's wrong with you that you would willingly stay in such a situation for FIVE YEARS??

Look around and find news from Friday the 29th. You will know that next week is this week.

Layoffs are always on the table. Unfortunately, its the new normal. And yes, something is in the mix for July.
