Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Hmmmm … maybe some reconnecting with wholesale Customers? Maybe fixing the supply chain issues, like the simple ones - why we can’t pick/pack/ship accurately, why our inventory data is off so badly, or why we have integration systems losing data left and right. We’re bleeding out from many small cuts … pick one, fix it, move on … and keep going. Ain’t rocket science to become more operationally sound, but ya’ do have to do things that aren’t se-y career making stuff, but more about grabbing a shovel and cleaning up all the BS from many years of MVP approaches

well, every one at corporate know there is a lot of extra fat in each team.
A lot of extra people who does nothing other than decks, slides and talks.
It's long due...and see there is at least few more rounds to go..

I have been with Nike for about 3 years now and I can tell you I have no dam clue what I am doing or what my role is or what my responsibilities are! I have had 3 managers thus far. I have admittedly crossed into some other people's areas of responsibilities as I was not clear it is my job or theirs and for every time I crossed into someone's role, three other people also stepped on my toes as they were also not clear whose Job is what! So yeah I am definitely happy Nike stock is falling and I wish nothing but worse for thos company!

There is no purpose or plan other than to reduce the balance sheet cost period. The work you do at Nike is pointless, what you do everyday does not concern leadership at all. Costs still need to be reduced so buckle up for more layoffs and shuffling of minions into new and different pointless roles.

The company runs a very good control of what is and what is not posted here.

Jasper Ridge is doing a great job keeping the stock from being an embarrassment today.

Class B shares mean nothing unless they pay a vig. Only Class A shares make a difference.
