I don't care if it's the left or right—both sides have failed us. Giving companies like AT&T tax breaks and COVID relief without any conditions has done nothing for American workers. Imagine if Trump’s corporate tax cut had a rule: companies could lower their tax rate from 35% to 21%, but if they increased their use of foreign workers by even 1%, their rate would jump to 45%. Do you think our jobs would still be sent to India, Colombia, and Mexico? Absolutely not.
We're so focused on the southern border and jobs Americans don’t want, but we’re ignoring the fact that high-paying jobs are being outsourced. These workers don't even need to come to the U.S. anymore—they can stay in their own countries while taking jobs that used to be here. Meanwhile, American money is being spent overseas, feeding foreign economies instead of our own. Corporations have become like Western Union, sending our wealth abroad, and politicians on both sides are letting it happen.
Both parties talk about tip wages, great at this rate, we'll all be working for tips and no one will be paying taxes if they keep allowing companies to outsource jobs while benefiting from low tax rates. Who can afford rising inflation and 5-8% mortgages when the good jobs are being shipped overseas or replaced by low-paying contractors like Prime Communications?
We are doomed if something doesn’t change this isn’t sustainable.
