If the Nike board was acting in the interests of shareholders then they would have;
- never hired the clown prince in the first place, and,
- fired him 2 years ago if they did.
Nike stock is now trading at a discount because class B shareholders have no power to change anything.
We are at the behest of the class A shareholder (PK) who’s ego does not want to admit he made a mistake hiring his a$$ ki$$er in chief.
All depends on Phil. He’s slow moving at 86, wants stability and becomes more conservative by the day…
Board shmord. Phil calls all the shots!
Starbucks reacted very quick (not sit around in denial q after q). and removed the non performing CEO from board as well. He came from Lysol to run a coffee chain, just like our mo--n came from no named garbage firms. Running brand behemoths will require insiders to the company and insiders to the industry. Not some random Tom di-k and harry like JD is. Hope nike acts quick and removes him
let's steal the starbucks playbook here!
