Is it true Verizon promised share holders they would reduce the work force in an attempt to bring up stock prices. If so does this include non management employees

Offer every central office tech the package. Then backfill 30% with field techs. That just makes too much common sense, so it will never happen.
Customer facing jobs safest place to be as long as you stay in good standing . Management not so much .
Only thing left for them to do. And, lotsa dead weight in this company
