Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Daily Pipeline Calls

We are reaching peak insanity. Our team manager is having 2 different calls, daily, related to pipeline management. There have been a few posts recently about no long term strategy and when you move to daily calls for pipelines, the ship is going down. Maybe not immediately but its not far off. Time to start moving on unless you are a glutton for punishment.

Precision staff will stop leaving Fiserv shortly, clients don't have to worry about that for much longer. (Because there is no one left to leave.)

Can we all please remember that HR is now run by a career Lawyer who reports to another corporate lawyer ? Placed there by Frank - not because he wants HR to be the best it can be but because he wants a person there who he can basically bully or tell exactly what to do and what the answers to every question are- and is too inexperienced or worried about her own survival in that job to say anything to the contrary. A shame for all of the HR professionals a level down who now have to work overtime to hold her up, under the weight of Frankenstein mandates and the shame of it is she’s a decent person, but a puppet.

hey this is Frank! - listen here! Just work more! Have more calls on weekends, nights and at all different hours ! because all the companies issues are due to people not working hard enough. Everyone is lazy! It has nothing to do with the fact that we somtimes need more people to implement and or build new stuff people actually want to buy. Or more people to better service the stuff we sell. Just sell them the same stuff over and over and just describe it differently and show up in the clients office more so they buy stuff. Me and the ridiculously ineffective management committee, who just needs to listen to me and do whatever I say, I pay them a lot to do that, We got this covered.

You people are stupid. Thanks. Happy 40th anniversary.

We used to board new business once a month, January through October. Each month had a capacity. We could do only so many clients duting these implementations. Once maxed out, we’d push the next group to the next month. We kept to the schedule. Now, there is no capacity. No gatekeeper. NY says yes to all asks and dates. And we do implementations in November and December, which were historically freeze periods to keep the environment stable for the holiday volume. Plus, the staff is about half what is was 5 years ago. The pipeline emergency is self-inflicted.

Pipeline is terrible bc clients arent buying from a company who can’t implement and service them. More deconversions than ever before.
