For layoffs if there is a certain number of people getting let go, it is filed with the state. WarnTracker is showing 27 people in NY now getting laid off on 8/17/24. Hopefully this will help them to invest more on big bet “futurist” programs to revolutionize healthcare, do more to reign in consumer healthcare costs, actually make a mobile app that works, rejuvenate their talent and balance their top heavy organization... but perhaps the last two lay offs is a telling sign that this is wishful thinking.

That NY listing shows the notice was back in May 2024 with an effective date of Aug 17th and was for an Omnicare pharmacy location. There have been other Omnicare pharmacy closures recently. That's not a part of Corporate layoffs.
I think the person was referring to - https://www.warntracker.com/company/cvs-health-corporation. It seems they were notified in May?

If this goes like last year, this is only a portion of those being laid off. There will be more in other states. Many were assigned to a business unit that was not even close to the geography they worked in. For example care management, utilization review, etc.

That was reported in Mail it goes like last year the notice reported date will be the date people are given the news, the separation date will be 60 days or more after.
