If they plan to hit their 2025 exit date*, I think we'll see the speed of displacements ramp up. There's been small displacements almost every cycle, with 5/14 being a larger group. But there's still a lot of people spread across the floors.
Maybe the uptick will start 8/20. Maybe it'll start in September. But, unfortunately, it's coming.
*The life of the data center was extended to 2028. Location strategy is completely different from data center strategy, so extending the data center 2028 probably has no bearing on anyone other than data center management staff.
I was unofficially told my date would've been 8/20 had I not accepted a role outside of the company.
