Not as we hoped for more upper management to be bounced out....including Karen. Doubt much will change.

Glad I don’t own this stock. When leadership is more concerned with headlining magazine articles, and peppers quarterly analyst meetings with a never ending stream of corporate buzzwords, and the company guessed wrong on recent investments ( Medicaid, purchase of physician practices etc), the Board must be sleeping. But, no matter, the execs will get wealthy, whether they win or lose. Firing the Aetna exec buys 1 quarter. Disgraceful
I definitely think Kane was scapegoated. He came in at the 11th hour and all of first-quarter 2025 was already signed, sealed and delivered. he had a little impact on the results at that point. to me, the squarely falls on Ly--h, Finke and Guertin to name a few. Ly--h should have been booted long ago but the board is pu--y-whipped and too afraid to deal with the blow back that would come from it.
Nothing is going to happen to the CEO unless or until the stock in downgraded with questions regarding Managements inability to deliver on results (I did read one analysts comment to one of the wire services regarding confidence in management's ability to deliver on promises) or questioning the company strategy. The Board, most Board's in the U.S. aren't going to do anything until an activist investor takes enough of a position to make a noise and effect change.
CVS Health is not going away. The stock will not return to triple digits anytime soon and perhaps a significant organization rethink leading to spinning off businesses may unlock value. But we're talking 3 to 5 years in the future.

Harvard Graduation is a Pu-s. My Director has a bachelors degree from the University of Phoenix, Diploma Mill and she makes $200,000.00.
Harvard? What's the big deal? Standards have been lowered here too...
Karen has no plan and has completely lost all support from the employees. She has made a mess of things in such a short period it's shocking. Anyone else would have been fired long ago.
DDAT thinks IT is waste of money. Say some AI buzz words but don't spend a penny on IT. Horrible days ahead for digital
PCW increased guidance, health services increased guidance, HCB continues to su-k big time… but the Aetna loyalists will continue to say it was CVS that ruined Aetna
How can they make changes and leave Anand in place???? He has destroyed moral and trust in his entire org. I have never seen moral this bad. No way Jaren is serious if he stays in place. She is just buying time.
IF mr. kane was indeed just a corporate "yes man", as everyone says, then this sure sounds more like he is/was being scapegoated, and falling on their own sword to protect Karen's job. Things are going south, we missed for a second straight quarter, so now heads gotta roll. Unless it's the CEO getting the boot, anyone else is just a scapegoat to protect those at the top. That said, now that KL is back in charge of Aetna again, if things continue to go south she'll have no one to blame but herself.
Karen keeps getting a pass? Why? She has been awful and her taking over more only spells disaster.
@OP+1tTBFHoZ Hearing that Karen is taking over finance and ops made me feel even worse. She hired the failures Brian K. and Tilak Outsource-Destroy-Your-Business-dadi that couldn't handle Mickey Mouse's IT. She should've been first out the door
@tpy+1tTBFHoZ su-ked? you can say someone was incompetent without s-xual innuendo!! do you see where a purity spiral gets you? nobody cares about weakling tone policing, only how good the business is doing. anything less would be re--rded
She hired him. What does that say about her?
He is an inept leader who absolutely su-ked. You can express that without using ableist language. Grow up please!!!
