Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

November?

Lots of talk about “November is coming.” Are there more layoffs? Does anyone know numbers or what regions will be hit hardest? Is this speculation?

Has our society fallen that much? So our previous generations and lost their lives in war and other things so shareholders can have a stranglehold and own populations?

I have a hard time stomaching some of these comments as it can’t be true how much our value of humanity has diminished - but I guess it’s sites like this existing that prove this.

No wonder the next generation has given up

If anyone believes that here at Enbridge any employees are put before corporate greed. Then think again real hard about that a know that you are either an asset or a cost to the business organization.
What matters most is money and no one will be spared for profits and return to shareholders.
If November or say February 2025 looks good on paper for severance packages or layoffs.
It’s going to occur and no concern of holidays or anything else.
Time to come to the realization.

TIS Imitation Lab will be wiped out next round whenever that is. Could be sooner than November. Remainder will be based off people leader A-B-C lists (everyone is on a list and it just depends where you happen to be on d-day - let the brown nosing begin).

No absolutes on this. Companies and execs will do whatever, whenever.

Plenty of companies did lay offs in Nov & Dec 2023. Just search the web.

2015 close to decade ago. No companies operate like its 2015 anymore. No company would dare ever lay off before christmas.

“100% speculation. No company lays off the month before Christmas.” Your statement is wrong.

They layoff anytime they want. It’s in smaller numbers now. Everyone is replaceable
