Even if you don't take it now all must have Exit Plan. Under such poor management company will keep losing market share ...
Con would be getting the buyout and a healthcare lump sum increasing your income.
I took the last one in Dec. Healthcare lump would have been nice, but I got my Bonus.
@2mbt+1tOIMBCP anyone who believes this hasn't been in this industry long. Both GM and Ford have teams in Mexico and SA as well, and didn't replace American jobs with them...

Since this is the second time in a year that they offered it, AND they made the offer better than last time, I feel like it’s a good time to take it. I feel there’s risk of my position being outsourced to a best cost country anyway.
No question. I’m taking it. I work in ICT and I am outta here and out of IT. Anything and everything will go to Mexico or South America for replacing US IT jobs for time zone consistency.
if someone can please mention the details of the buyouts, how many months per year of service, i heard if you have 20 yrs of service you get 30 months of pay?
As an engineer 100%. I feel like this whole year was a game of Russian roulette with my job.
I am. There is still time to jump to a company where there's a chance of actually getting bonus this year. No way we're getting it.
