Thread regarding CVS layoffs

On this site for the first time? Be aware...

If you are on this layoff site for the first time please know:

  1. Not all of the posts are about layoffs. For some reason some people think this is just a free-for-all about anything if you work for CVS.
  2. Unfortunately there are a lot of trolls on this site and nothing is done about it. They usually state they are remote engineers & are making tons of money, stock is great, CVS is great. Do yourself a favor and scroll past those.
  3. Keeping that in mind know that there are some serious posts and good info.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - IF YOU ARE ANXIOUS OR THE HYPER WORRYING TYPE THIS SITE MAY NOT BE FOR YOU. Some people posting may be being laid off or were laid off but most are people are just conjecturing what they think may or may not happen. It's not for the faint of heart!

Ok, so how many steps are there to the top of your soap box?

I see you may be new to the neighborhood, but this board has been like this for YEARS. Looong before you graced it with your presence.

Instead of blaming the site mod or the people who are here “complaining”, maybe think about blaming the root cause: The putrid leadership at a company that hurts their employees everyday and not Hardworking people who come here for info and to vent frustration with a common enemy.

The engineer does have to go though. Been hoping a server would fall on their head like an anvil on Wile E. Coyote

the trolls are one or two immature, butt-hurt, -ssholes who apparently have too much time on their hands. They're pretty desperate for attention, so don't engage them.

Gotta love online forum police… yes this site is about layoffs but it’s ok for people to share their thoughts and opinions with one another. If you don’t care for it then skip those posts.

You are correct. Some people are using this for a vendetta or just to complain. I wish there were mods to remove the garbage.

There are other forums if you just want to complain.

So true -A lot of people also post about how horrible CVS has been treating the employees of the companies they've bought and ruined. You might find some comfort in some of those posts if you're one of us. 😞
