Very many companies rise (pun intended) and then face an inevitable decline if they cannot innovate to meet the challenges of tomorrow. SAP will not be able to create the next generation of solutions, and the leaders are well aware, so the next 3-5 years, it’s about extracting as much cash as possible to garner personal wealth. The rest of us dedicated employees with integrity will keep working diligently for the benefit of our customers while management is fully focussed on their exit strategy and how to maximise personal income. There are already challengers out there creating much simpler, easy to deploy, ERP solutions, with investor backing, poised to take the market in a few years. Next time you’re on a plane, and especially if you’re in first class, ask your seat mates what they think about SAP. That will tell you all you need to know (and why our execs fly private).
I agree with this take, @2aoj+1tGM6mW8.
