Location Strategy will execute in faster pace. More roles will be removed in the US. More hiring will be done in India. Big housekeeping is coming in next few months.

A wise man (or "wise guy") on this forum once suggested it was time to "Pepper Your Angus. " A hilarious term that does not necessarily refer to seasoning your favorite beef.
Bloodbath already in progress... Godspeed to anyone left
“ I need facts about app resiliency expectations,”
Well at least I don’t feel alone now in needing that info.
@1qxj+1tLFfjab I figured. McKinsey right? As far as I know every group is trying to figure out what is going to new DC and what to cloud. Problem is cloud is so fu---d up not much is actually moving so it’ll have to move twice. New dc plus then to cloud. Heard TK wanted to accelerate cloud and asked her directs about it. Good fu--ing luck with the bozos running cloud. No way we meet dates for data center move. Infrastructure is being run by bozos and I think they laid off a bunch of people over there.
The whole technology function will be eventually moved to India.
@kci+1tLFfjab
Totally spot on!
"My team is in Day 1 and let me tell you its a mess."
Can confirm.
@kci+1tLFfjab Of course DC Migration is a cluster. Hire a consulting firm to come in and run a project by "box ticking" is doomed to fail. My team is in Day 1 and let me tell you its a mess. Here's a typical question from the consultant running the meeting, "Do you need some consultants to meet that date?" No you d-mb fk, I need facts about app resiliency expectations, oh and a PO that know anything about their product would be a great bonus!
@kci+1tLFfjab interesting perspective--esp data center migration.
We've already been bleeding for years. This is nothing new. Nice way to treat your peers. Everywhere is taking hits. Be kind, it costs you nothing.
Thanks captain obvious.
Nah. If anything things will slow down. Location strategy might continue as is for now. But a new head of tech will come in and take the rest of the year to figure out wtf is going on and how bad TK did. Then changes will trickle down. head of infrastructure will be gone by early next year. Cloud is a cluster f**k. Data center migration is huge and I’d bet also f’ed up. TK will get a golden parachute in about a year. CDO is on his way out. Anybody leading agile still around?
And of course new tech head will have their own made up acronym- six S, EPIC (lame and never really went anywhere).
No overlords from BNY, so yeah, coming in to clean house probably. Sorry tech.
Bloodbath is coming. Good luck technology folks.
