how do you find out the actual legit numbers
how do you know if they voluntarily left
if they did indeed voluntarily leave was it because they were pressured due to horrible working conditions
Triple that the past 2-3 years. Total headcount is WAY less. They’re or doing anything differently than other companies though
@amk+1tKp4g4X OK love your punctuality but the fact that we have so many departure is just alarming....
OP, your post title is misleading. That article doesn’t say Nike laid off 4,300 people. It says the Nike workforce has 4,300 fewer people with 1,600 of that number coming from layoffs. The rest is mostly voluntary departures, of which there have been many, and hiring freezes for otherwise planned hires.
Reading is fundamental. The truth is bad enough. There’s no need to exaggerate.
The more Nike Only 1.5B more in cuts to go, Bain is already hard at work at WHQ compiling the next round of layoffs.
The way it says JD TOOK an 11 percent pay cut as if he voluntarily did so! The stock crashed and so his stock depending compensation crashed inevitably or else he would have even give himself a raise!
Anyway, the 4300 number seems right and the thing is Nike is still continuing to cutting people off here and there.... It is not mass layoff but it is rolling layoff. Some are placed on performance plan and some are fired immediately due to vague reason and some roles are eliminated as a natural consequence of the whole team being wiped off.... So people please look after yourself and your family first and start looking for job before it is too late
Huge future cuts coming.
what they were not straightforward
is anyone surprised
it's only going to get worse
as an aside, intel doesn't look good either and probably will be making cuts
it is going to be a bloodbath in oregon
their revenue must be going down
