truth is if you get eliminated, you were on a list long ago ( probably put there by someone who doesn't even know your name or the hard work you do- with a company this large you ARE just a number ). so there's not much you can do to change that.
you can take some actions in your life to control some of the stress.
- reduce that credit card debt
- set up an emergency fund 3- 6 month of expenses min.
- update your resume
- update your LinkedIn
- start looking for what your plan B will be
layoffs su-k nobody should make 20 million dollars for such an easy job ( face it its endless meetings and speeches but its really really not not a hard life at all...its ust image and delegate ...they didn't build the company from scratch they didn't put in the grunt work like the founders did long ago... chances are you have a much better concept of quality work that puts your customer and team in a better place.
there is certainly a white collier recession in progress the government is being shifty with the data..the jobs being created are not well paying ( start electing people who don't have a D or R next to their name. they want us fighting with each other becasue as long as we argue with each other we take our eyes off of them and they get the rule as they wish-- wake up they are two side to the same coin)
