Yes Sir Mr PostID @2ukr+1tH232YB . You heard it right "FOR NO REASON". How do you judge someone moved over from another LOB within 30 days and throw into CP?. Children are grown here. Its the parents (a.k.a Manager+) needs to grow and learn the so called "Work Ethics". If you are in C1, you know what I mean

PIP is like a layoff, but without a layoff package.
If you get a PIP don't try to accept it and spend your time working on it (impossible to succeeded) . Just opt out and use 2 months of paid time searching for a new job.
This mid year about 8-10% of people will get PIPs per forced distribution requirements.

Once you are disliked by your management or silent layoffs are needed, your work ethic will become pathetic no matter how great you did in the past 10 years or 20 years.

My understanding of PIP is usually shorter and if you don't make it you are out. Also you have an option to opt-out PIP. Whereas Coaching plan can go longer and you get evaluated at the Mid Year/ EOY Cycle. You can't opt out CP. Again this is CapitalOne and you are being pushed into this for no reason at all and mostly nothing to do with your performance. It's their way of "silent layoffs" and showing the world they are on hiring spree.

Failing CP will lead to PIP. Very subjective processes and like people said here, the management will use whatever reasons they can think of /lies to support the case . Just take them as signals that it is time to move on.
