Never in my life have I witnessed more conference calls needlessly and mindlessly prolonged all because 1-2 people just keep talking when the action items have been concluded. Someone could say ok I will follow up and get back to you after the call. Then 1-2 people keep talking about it. Please be a bit self aware people. You could be done with the call and have time back but no, someone is always wasting time

90% of the top guys talk a lot with zero substance in it, and also take home half of the wellsfargo earnings. Techies are the stupid guys , don't know the knack and earn peanuts. It is a bad karma to be techie.

There is a guy on our team who loves to hear himself bring up "issues" and then drone on and on about them. He never actually solves a problem, he just keeps us on the phone because he likes to talk, and hear himself talk, a lot.

This has always been a thing, some people ramble on, some don't.
These sort of annoyances in daily life are not interesting topics. Most people get it and the people that don't never will.
Roll the dice and pass go.
If you got what you need, and you know what your action items are, why are you staying on the call? Ask if anyone else needs anything from you and leave the call.
