Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Upcoming reorganizations and RIFs?

Any news about upcoming reorgs or RIFs? What about another round of EROs in the Fall? Humana has lost quite a few talented, tenured leaders and executives to Centene, Blue Cross and Carelon over the past 18 months. And now this week’s announcement of TH “retiring”. He’s not even 55 and doesn’t meet the criteria to retire! What’s going on?

Those who moved to Centene are Humana discards. Not much of a loss.

Since 'centerwell' has appeared, you can figure that is the 'newest' incarnation of what used to be humana. With that, I suspect all else must go...ladies & gents, fasten your seatbelt, the titanic just saw the ice.....

My product VP RS said there will be continued departures. He is not favorable to most of his peers.

NoButProbably- I agree. We have more chiefs than worker bees and all that most of them know how to do is talk and produce a smoke and mirror show! We don’t need managers, directors and ADs that can’t do the work when the chips are down.

I would venture to guess that middle managers across the board are next up. We've thinned the herd and now that level between Supervisor and VP are on deck.
