Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Merit

As confirmed in MM email this week, corporate teammates will receive the same base salary increase percentage based on country. What are your guesses for NA? Regardless, what a rip!

It's good to know my hard work is as valued as the guy who spends half his day jerking off in the warehouse supply closet.

Get out of jail free card for any slacker. Feeling motivated already (to join them).

they spin it as cost of labor, blah blah blah. Descent attempt at spin, but the only people they will sway are the ones that think a permanent record is a thing.

It seems like FY24 was not the year to kick a$$ as an employee. No matter how great you were, your CFE rating won't matter and you're only going to get a standard raise like everyone else.

What a great way for leadership to motivate people at a time when teams are maxed out and understaffed due to unnecessary layoffs. I suppose they believe we should be grateful we're still here and getting any merit, despite the fact the company is bringing in record amounts of revenue and profits.

I'm guessing everyone is getting 3.2% in US. Basically inline with inflation YOY.

Raise will be 1.000238592000002537%, and that will blow up the payroll system and nobody will get paid for 3 months while it spins around in the tech support black hole. Will be at least 1000 tickets opened before anyone actually looks at the issue, and is only 1 person in the product team with enough knowledge to dig through the code, … but they got laid off :(!

I was pretty honest on the survey and am now worrying my managers will easily figure out it was my response. Shouldn't have written as much as I did...
