We're coming up on the end of employment for the 4/22 layoff batch.
Anyone hear anything about Cobra? Did I miss any action I'm supposed to take? I'm going to need Cobra for the month of July.

There is cobra contact information in your paperwork under the list of frequently contacted.

I have to disagree- People Solutions has been super helpful and answered all of my questions of every topic/question I have asked- and been really nice- it can't be an easy position for them to be in. When I asked about Cobra- importantly they said all your deductibles will carry over, you will have the exact same coverage plan you had with whatever plan you had, and I "think" Nike pays thru Dec for those impacted in April- check your own packet.
I received a bill from Wage Works saying that I owed my portion of COBRA ($700 ish). I emailed People Solutions and they were useless.
I ended up cancelling and getting on my spouse's insurance instead.
They automatically pay the 6 months COBRA for you. So you will have it paid through January 2025, after that you have to pay it.
The End of Employment April 2024.pdf document outlines a lot of information about Cobra. It says we are automatically enrolled on 7/1 no action required and it is a continuation of your existing coverage. It also says we are supposed to receive something in the mail to our home address from Health Equity 4-6 following termination. I have not received anything yet so I don't know if that is from 4/22 or 6/28. People Solutions is useless I asked them about that a month ago and heard nothing back.
