What kind of leave benefits were used? And if they were being abused do you know how? A lot of us have seen this type of behavior. Were they out on disability and were found to be on the golf course? Just wondering how a company benefit being used is a cause to be let go.

That's definitely not a surplus.

You don’t get treated like that for a surplus. Equating a surplus and a “firing” as synonymous is not appropriate

6 managers and 2 (L2) managers were surplussed (fired). They were escorted out of building and not allowed to get their personal belongings. All these managers have 20+ years. They were treated like criminals.
Management left in building are under double the pressure now by very poor leadership.
