Is the SpeakUp Portal really anonymous? Is there anyway Leadership can identify who reported a Code of Conduct violation?

sweet summer child, nothing is anonymous on the internet or intranet
Nope. A speak up is just you giving them ammo to get rid of you. After you submit one, you’re a flight risk and must be removed. You’ll likely be lumped in with layoffs so they can disguise it as a win now move. All smoke and mirrors.
So would it be the same as going through human resources?
You all said no camping out. I pulled up to do check in and the cars are all down new Allen and people sleeping in their cars, parked in the grass and everything. I as an employee can’t even get my child Christmas shoe. I just left. They been out there since last night all on Amazon lot. There is a lot of posts on Facebook about it. I’m so disappointed. That’s the only thing my child asked for. You have people like me who follow the rules, lose in the end, and people who disregards what you all send out and they still get what they want.
I used it and theyve been trying to fire me ever since.
I'm extremely unhappy with Nike i bought a few pairs of jordans the key chain plaque that comes with every pair of jordans when you buy them in the store is missing. I've call about this problem and said ok well return the shoe for another pair and it should be there i laughed at them so return a pair of shoes that's sold out in every size in 10 mins? I just want to know where my plaque is and why it's been removed off my shoe i first place why is my shoe being touched after it comes from place it's made. No answer. It's bullsh-t they take the plaque off b4 they send you the shoe. That's one of jardan shoes iconic features is that plaque.
_Disappointing Experience with Nike's Customer Service_
I'm extremely disappointed with Nike's customer service. They failed to deliver my product, insisted on a refund, and took 9 business days to process it. The customer service team was incompetent, miscommunicating with me for 3 days, offering false hope, and providing a half refund despite my requests for a full refund.
The representatives were rude and unhelpful, showing no concern for my experience. It's clear that Nike doesn't value its customers or their money. I demand a full refund and expect better service from a reputable company like Nike.
Nike needs to revamp its customer service. It's a disaster that's costing them customers. I hope they take my feedback seriously and make necessary changes to improve their customer service.
I used it last year and never heard a thing back.
Yes it’s anonymous. Problem is, most of the time if you provide enough detail for your complaint to be actionable, it’s going to be pretty obvious to all involved parties who, exactly, submitted the complaint.
This may not be true if you report something sufficiently generic: “John Smith has been stealing everyone’s vegan falafel sandwich out of the fridge.” If your complaint involves some personal affront against yourself however, well…that’s going to get traced back to you. That’s when it’s important to remember that retaliation is still very much ‘a thing’ at Nike no matter how much anyone vehemently denies it.
I doubt it is. Nike is not big on accountability or integrity. It’s an application for the next layoff.
That is where tons people who have submitted complaints landed.
The SpeakUp portal is just a website hosted by third party company, Navex. You can remain anonymous if you decide not to identify yourself. I recommend using non-Nike device and private VPN to connect. Another option is calling instead of using the website and using a burner number. Save the pin number you get, so you can log back in and see if there was a response left. You will need to provide specific details about the conduct and person(s) and it needs to be detailed enough to launch an investigation. A third option is to email the Ethics & Compliance team (eco@nike.com) from a burner email account. All reports are taken very seriously and when enough details are provided, they are investigated. Logging back in a couple of weeks after the report is recommended to see a response or a request for additional information. The response will not include details about the outcome and any disciplinary action for privacy reasons. This has been my experience with it.
EthicsPoint uses a third-party (NAVEX) to deliver and archive your claim. A bonus is being able to access your report through NAVEX after leaving Nike.
As for HR taking your report seriously? They are required to respond, however they will not address your concerns in good faith. Prepare for poorly edited boilerplate responses devoid of reading comprehension.
HR’s priority is protecting the business against negative claims, not advocating for you. Seeing the liability Nike has made for itself lately means HR is ineffectual. The heart of the violation you’ve experienced will be neglected as it most likely requires someone above you to accept responsibility.
Speaking from experience, do not use it.
Nike is not a fan of liability and risk. If you use it, big chances they ll see you as bot.
Meaning very soon, they ll show you the door for some fake reason
You should use if you have a claim, complaint, issue or grievance. All items are investigated and reasonable efforts are made to ensure confidentiality. It is globally open to anyone, not just employees. https://secure.ethicspoint.com/domain/media/en/gui/56821/report.html
Used it once and im still here, For whatever that’s worth
It "anon, but if the evidence gets shown to the accused. if you say "My manager called someone X in our team meeting on Tuesday" they will know its one of a few people and can/will start a witch hunt based on the info/ style of writing.
It’s anonymous. However, unless you can present actual facts anonymously that peak their interest and can be followed up on, it will go nowhere.
It is not. And chances are the investigators will print out what you submit and show the accused. That’s what they did when I used it.
@lrr Hi, HR!
Yes. Anonymous and monitored by legal and not HR.
Yes, it’s anonymous. Despite what people on here might say, HR takes those matters very seriously.
