For the longest of times, this board has been a griping post for company policies that benefit the employee and strip the abilities of our stocks, ruining our shareholder value. Finally, our shareholders are put first and employee demands are deprioritized. If you don't like it, in the immortal words of our esteemed leaders - deal with it, or go somewhere else. We don't need your loud mouths and disloyalty. You don't like Dallas? Fine. Don't move here. Don't drive up our traffic. Don't drive up our crime. Don't compete for our kid's teachers. Stay away. Stay off my calls.

People moving to Dallas: you aren’t welcome. There’s no room for you here
Go to the land of defunded police: slums of Atlanta metro. You will be welcome there until wave 3.5
Let’s take this even further, if you invested $10,000 in T stock 20 years ago you’d have:
$40.37k (this is factoring in dividends, obviously) and the principal would be worth $9,752
If you had just Invested that in SPY you’d have $71k factoring in dividends.
Good investment? You could have just bought the index.
Math hard, I know.
“52 week range for our stock is $13.43 - $18.06. That's a really strong increase ever since RTO was pushed. Hard to argue against the numbers here.”
This person doesn’t do finance.
SPY is up 25% in the past year.
You’d have had better performance just buying the index.
For most normal people, the past year doesn’t matter because they have shares that go back many years, let’s look at that.
Past 5 years, T down 25.58%
SPY up 89%
Even with the lame dividend it would take you decades to catch up, and by then opportunity cost of just owning the index and letting it continue to gain would dwarf the pathetic gain from T.
T isn’t going to magically bounce back because of RTO - that’s a union dream by people who don’t really understand what’s going on, or the inner workings of the market.
T is a bad investment, period.
It’s in dead last out of all the mega caps in the S&P in terms of ownership (hedge funds, industry insiders, institutions, etc) no one wants it. It’s a dump stock you get awarded it, you dump it take the cash buy NVDA. Or it’s a ‘security’ holding for ‘muh dividends’ (like 1%-2% allocation or less) kinda like holding TLT.
It’s hot garbo.
Git gud at investing, maybe you wouldn’t have to work here anymore :)

Hey wave 2 lemmings, bye. -Union

What mo--n still holds T?
Boomer logic.
I'm not leaving until I get my 5-5-5 deal!

AT&T ... love it or leave it.
These imbeciles couldn't manage a garage sale without taking a loss. The stock has been hovering around $18 per share since the Covid crash and has yet to rebound! That speaks volumes about Wall Street's opinion and analysis of T!
Just “refer your friends and family”!
NOT!
Dak is terrible, just like Dallas.
Who knew Stankey himself posted on this board
