RTO for WAH

Do all the WAH employees who live within 25 mile of any CVS office throughout the US have to go in or just RI and Connecticut offices as listed in the ‘what has changed’ link .

Also is it 25 miles ‘as the crow flies’ distance for 25 mile GPS route distance?

They are doing this to bring down head count, hoping people get so pied off about it they quit. My fear is if they don't get enough people to leave voluntarily, they will increase the radius and the number of days in office. Such bullst.

as the crow flies. So if you do a 25 mile radius of the office (can google) you'll see how they got the data.

Nothing in thi company makes sense. Karen Ly--h, the CVS chief executive, received a $21.6 million compensation package in 2023 — a 1.4% increase over the prior year. The figure included a $1.5 million salary, stock awards and options of $16.2 million, and incentive pay of nearly $3 million

Like it said the only WAH close to the CT and RI campuses only. logistically speaking theres no capacity. WAH employees are in the tens of thousands, just cant be accommodated.

Change your address to a friend's address. Local tax issues can be handled by your CPA. Karen Ly--h tongues my an-s.

The ‘what has changed’ states that the only WAH employees employees impacted are the ones 25 miles distance from the rhode Island and CT offices? So how does this make sense?

its applicable to all states. IL is doing RTO. again, in workday if you are showing remote you may not be impacted for now. Per my manager, eventually all those within 25 mile radius will RTO to the nearest office. this is coming for sure. your department heads are working with HR on this. stay tuned :)

I think it is GPS distance. They pulled data to know who would be impacted based on a person’s home address.. but there are a lot of remote employees saying they will not be impacted because their business unit went remote recently. I am wondering if the new policy truly does not apply to them or if their leadership is waiting until the last minute to break the news.
