Don’t think so. There are other jobs. I prefer working to earn money, not lose money. T is not a company I’m willing to bet on or go extra length for.

Any average joe who relocates on their own dime is asking for trouble. It depends on your situation, but if you move to a cheaper area, you can be stuck there. if you do move to a lower cost housing area, keep your primary home and rent it out while you are gone. Do not let it go.

Thank you!
We can’t afford to lose a top performer.
Yeah, no need to play their games. If they ask you to move, laugh in their faces. They will lay you off, with severance. You will find another job, and will never look back. I did exactly this, and it's really not a scary as some people want you to believe. It'll work out. It always does.
Don’t move. By the time they notice you’ll be closer to retirement.
True story. Sad.
I knew someone (totally different company) who had to move to Jacksonville, Fl for his job or lose it. He lived in PA and commuted daily to NYC for work. He had no choice - needed the job and had a child ready to head to college. He moved to Jacksonville and rented a home. Tried to sell the home in PA but it was not budging. After a year he felt secure enough so he took a second mortgage out on the PA house and bought in Jacksonville. Six months later he was let go. He took his life.
There are no guarantees.
Then don’t move. Problem solved.
GTFOH!
I went the extra mile for 21 years and AT&T decided that wasn’t worth a squirt of pi-s-
F moving or pretending to- if the mo--ns can replace me let them -
You won't lose your job. Your too important for AT&T to lose.
Oh-Fu--ing-Kay? Goofy a-s
You aren't needed.
p1ss off, we don't need you
Seriously...
None of this is new. I wouldn't move either. RTO su-ks, Stankey Su-ks, AT&T su-ks. But why not simply move on?
So don't move. No need to publicly announce.
