Learn to su-k a golf ball through a garden hose and you are safe.

The most skilled continue to get let go.... above is the likely only skill that will matter.

Keep =

Does your boss like you more than the rest?

Does his/her boss like you more than the rest?

Don't have an original thought that challenges the broken "normal"

Don't try to fix any broken process, policy or procedure that has been in place since dinosaurs roamed earth.

Don't miss a 3 AM call that comes in for an app bug running on the same infrastructure that it has for 15 years....

Don't be smart

Don't forget to log your hours and say nothing bad about having to log your hours...

Don't tell your new boss that Tilak brought in from an insignificant industry (Twitter, MGM, Disney, Starbucks) how healthcare works.

I could go on and on and on.

In IT it should be something like - From Hyderabad with 0 skills: Keep. Everyone else: Let go.

Why would they let go of any Engineers? My manager shared that Engineers are the most important resources for the company and they will get raises and 200% bonuses. This is in addition to free Netflix and Hotstar accounts.
