The Berkeley Heights location was granted work from home on Fridays. Using the Sapience tool aka company spyware it was detected that some folks would not work past 12:00 on those Friday. In true Fiserv fashion they are punishing everyone. if our job is not stressful enough now, we have to worry about our managers scrutinizing our 10 minutes away from our computer as we might actually just be using the restroom.

Why would new employees expect to work remote? It is not advertised that way and if anyone did 2 minutes on any forum learning about this company, they should not expect remote work? I don't follow the logic in this "cycle", what am I missing? Remote work and Fiserv have as much in common as a dog groomer and bull rider.
The clients can train the new employees. They are trapped with Fiserv, so they will always be available.
the problem is the cycle it creates. People leave for a variety of reasons, you need new people to come in but learning this company from home, by yourself, is nearly impossible and greatly extends the learning curve. So you need people to come in to learn their job, they learn it, want to work remote and so they leave and it starts over again, entrapping everyone, whether new or not.
I am not sure when employees are going to come to terms with Fiserv not being a remote workplace. There are so many remote jobs out there that are remote and trust their employees. I pitty the misery of so many that expect Fiserv to be flexible.
Work from home is going away. Stop complaining and be thankful.

The new rule is RTO 6 days, and you can WFH on Sundays as long as it is approved by your manager
It’s nothing new to the poor examples of leadership running the company. If people are doing that it’s an issue for their manager. Let them handle it. The whole punish all thing is so 1995, and they wonder why the morale and culture su-k.
Working with you would be punishment enough.
Working in prison environment…young people run!!! This corporation is only progressive for VPs and above…they do not care about you…
Being employed at Fiserv is punishment enough.
So what is the punishment?
Why not… certainly not all departments in Omaha get to wfh on Fridays
They have no problem constantly laying people off for every other reason, than you have BS like this is, if 5 people are not working on Fridays, fire them, but nope, they will use those 5 people to justify why WFH is bad.
All anticipated restroom breaks must be pre-booked in workday and approved at a bp level. Any emergency situations must be escalated immediately to your VP for approval. Clean up crews from JSOC will be available if the VP didn’t approve in time
Instead of blasting the company over sapience in this instance, you should be calling out your coworkers who cut out work early if they didn't have scheduled PTO.
Remember: It's the few who ruin it for the many.
People are taking Friday afternoons off with their infinite vacation? I am shocked!
Honestly if it was me I would leave my work laptop from Mo-Fi at the office. Somebody was trying to reach me outside working hours? Too bad it must wait till next working day because "I want to protect customer data an increase colaboralotion".
Find another job. Fiserv and FDC are terrible companies to work for. I stayed way too long and should have moved on. When I was forced out I found way greener pastures where I work for a good company making way more, with way more benefits than I ever had at FDC.
