Hi, nearly everyone at my store is stealing product (not cash or dr-gs, though). It's stupid stuff (like a bottle of shampoo or a 12-pack of beer, or some apples, or not paying for lunch) nothing major but it happens nearly every.Single. Shift. It's kind of the worst kept secret, but I feel like I should report them but to who? Even my manager is taking stuff. I believe in the mission of CVS and want to stay and grow with this company, and hate to see this happen!

If they do it on the clock it bad cvs don’t like employees that steal, but if they clock out as a customer they can take whatever they want. That’s the F’d up thing up about this company Asset protection is there to watch the employees, but shoplifters get free rein. Almost like how the BoD gives free rein to Karen and her cronies to sink our company funny thing is it’s so blatant it’s almost like they want this company to fail
they have cameras and if someone reports or calls the cops they can trace and arrest them even if its a 5$ coke can
I reported it in my store in Birmingham Alabama - and they did nothing
Why are you posting this on a layoff site? This isn’t Reddit.
Thanks for having integrity. That matters no matter where you work. You can anonymously report theft to Colleague Relations and they can investigate. You can also anonymously report to the Ethics line. Another option is to let your regional Asset Protection team leader know you have concerns and they can investigate.
Shoplifting is OK...don't call the police, they won't come. Employee theft will lead to a firing. We as a nation are not hurting enough yet.
Do the right thing! Whether you like the company or not.
Nope! Milk as much as you can from that cr-p company before they force you to leave.
Well, you should steal too!
