A lot of people claim that more rounds of layoffs are coming, I don’t doubt that, but what who is the source of this information?

Kissing a-s will not save your own a-s here at this death spiral company.
"People leaders lack the fortitude to either coach directs into higher performance or deal with low performance. Therefore the mass layoff is the only answer for low performers."
Nah, several of my folks got the ax who were "High Performers". Performance had nothing to do with it. The clowns making the cuts didn't even bother to check the performance levels of those cut. It just didn't matter.......

Three absolute certainties in life:
- Death
- Taxes
- Mass layoffs at Enbridge
the source is people. I've heard it from managers and its been alluded to by directors. does that mean it's true? No. But they do generally have a sense of things.
They can't figure out how to streamline and simplify, every software release is a disaster. They spent millions to amalgamate a couple two-page forms and the result is worse for everyone!
I highly doubt anyone would risk naming people or positions of people is sharing this information with fear of losing their jobs. But for me I had a conversation with Greg Ebel and he told me everything.
I could walk around my building and easily get rid of 20-25 who are doing nothing or have duplicate or over lapping roles as someone else. There are also inefficiencies with unionized roles.
Enbridge also needlessly over complicates things. The software is atrocious, and is making workers spend too much time things they shouldn't have to.
Everything needs to be simplified and streamlined.
