Must have been another JS “network” hire? Where you at MM snd BB? JS was super shady but you all just let the immature power hungry kid run rogue .. promoted to VP even though several concerns were flagged but I guess that is what happens when HR and legal were his drinking buddies .. ya’ll protect each other. Meanwhile other people’s lives and careers got ruined.

The people that apply to DEI jobs are primarily people looking to make a buck off social issues. They’re culture warriors at best, privateers at worst.

There’s also the fact that their profession is all about making judgements based on your skin color & guilt tripping anyone they deem not worthy.

Girl, I didn’t grow up in Portland. My hometown HAS diversity. I don’t need a lecture from someone who grew up in a 2% Whole Milk town, whose entire job is regurgitating TikTok.

Ultimately their job is tearing people down. Not building teams up.

Anyone else feel like the entire DEI team gives off "Mean Girl" vibes? Like they're too good to talk to you even though you will find them doing zero work, grabbing coffee, playing golf in the office, or pretending to be in meetings. It's such a terrible "team." And have you seen their salaries?!

I really want MM and JD to be transparent about our progress. Show us the real metrics. What is our true representation. How many of the people hired between 2020-2024 are still here? How much money have we spent to advance DEI? What are the real results?

They’re all the same. S Jarvis was another one. But Senior leaders at Nike who are being promoted to positions far beyond their capacity has nothing to do with DEI. It’s just the Nike matrix way.

DEI is a such scam/bubble and has nothing to do with the actual diversity of thought which helps strengthen businesses. Nikes implementation of DEI has been a complete joke and is largely at fault for the ineffectiveness we’re seeing in our leaders today. I can’t wait for this fad to die out.
