Return to work

Has anyone heard on upcoming updates and why do they keep waiting. Will there be some sort of enforcement coming.

Wouldn’t it cost more for people to come to the office than keep them empty? Wear and tear

So many people are already in such high stress situations in the jobs even remotely working. Making them drive to a dumpy, dreary, soulless gray office to sit next to all the other frowning people just makes it even worse.

While people don't want to return to the office, just remember, it costs a lot to keep a building empty.....

Everyone who lives within 25 miles from office will need to come in.

Such a pathetic and petty organization.

More concerned with arbitrary and punitive RTO policies than actually running the business.

Been over two years and the average rate of participation is 30%. Newsflash pe---r heads clearly this is not what people want. But this is CVS so instead of doing the logical thing, leaving it up to each team, they'll go ahead and try to force it.

Which is to say you have people who have been coming in for years at this point for no fu---n reason at all while most of the company does what they want. I say let's force the rest of the cast to come in to hangout with the people who are angry they've been coming in the whole time. You know what'll turn this ship around? A bunch of angry and miserable people. No smiles around here love. The ELT can get fu---d. Hopefully after this week y'all realized what the sentiment is. Suuuuuuuuuuuck my di-k and die slow.

Badge swipe monitoring has been in place at LEAST since they went from 2-3 days a week in office. It is NOT a new metric they are tracking - this report is sent to VPs for everyone under them in the org.

Some VPs cared to put pressure and enforce most did not. No idea if that trend is shifting.

From my VP directly who has been on ELT calls where it was discussed:” Karen is the one pushing RTO, we need to keep the optics of complying even if we aren’t”

No updates but I do know they are monitoring badge swipes and have started pressuring directors whose teams aren’t coming in enough. Also heard that fully remote employees need VP level approval to be promoted now.
