NJ Firms Stand to Lose Tax Breaks Unless Workers Come to Office

I wonder what kind of tax breaks AT&T gets for RTO:

But I'm sure it's all about collaboration, right?

“Definitely cr*ppy that no relo funding at all. Crazy. But unfortunately no one is forcing you into the big bad city. You have the choice to make. I do hope the best for all in this situation.”

I did choose, I took my skills elsewhere and got a job where they offered to pay to move me and paid me significantly more.

Whatever lies it take to complain about RTO.

"It’s only the cities run by Democratic mayors with Democratic Governors at the state level where crime has increased dramatically! New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, D.C., Baltimore...you get the picture!"

Definitely not Dallas, Orlando, Memphis, Birmingham, Atlanta, Miami, St. Louis, Nashville... No homeless or crime there!

They're Xanadu!

Fox and NewsMax have never explained crime RATE?

“I thought the sarcasm was implied. I believe none of my original post. Apologies for unclear communication.”

Fair enough, my bad, you’d just be surprised at all the simping for upper management that happens here. I legit think they hired HR people to make positive posts here and elsewhere.

“Spot on! You would never believe the sleepless nights I've had, worried over corporate tax breaks. We all need to trundle back, no matter the personal costs or sacrifices, to make sure the tax situation is favorable for the company. I'm energized.”

“Not sure where you are working, but it certainly isn’t AT&T. There are very few employees who work hard or care.”

Think you misread my statement. I agree with you.

New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Portland, D.C., Baltimore...you get the picture! It can’t be argued, it’s 100% accurate! Just keep voting them in, they’re leveling the playing field!

AT&T must be getting some truly incredible tax breaks from RTO if it’s worth sacrificing the large majority of it’s employee base’s drive to work hard, innovate, or just simply care at all.

Every fu-k I ever gave is now in the rear view mirror.

“Another reason to get back into the office and actually work.”

Why?
Why should we be forced back into shithole cities we don’t want to live in just because cities governments have mismanaged their budgets?

Why is it my problem crime is going insane in a city and everyone is moving away?

Why is it my problem the homeless epidemic is popping off?

Maybe less people in cities, more businesses leaving, more businesses allowing remote work so people CAN LIVE WHERE THEY WANT - will actually cause insane property prices to decrease as now people won’t be forced to live in shithole mismanaged cities and people can self select location and thus become more spread out and dispersed thus lowering demand.

It will also allow people to buy homes in AFFORDABLE areas and get larger nicer homes than they would be able to get in the middle of a cess-pool city. With better school districts, and more family friendly.

Let
The
Cities
Fail.
