Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

New Marketing Head --- Very Disrespectful

comes in and sh-ts on everything --- says Forum "needs redone", says the people are not right, says the work is not good.

How about come in listen and learn before making broad, sweeping statements about what needs "fixed" when you haven't even been here for five minutes.

By the way, besides Nike the companies you worked for are certainly not powerhouses. I think we are a Fortune 100, we must be doing something right.

Finally your disrespect to Leigh Asher has been despicable. At least want until she is out the door before showing no grace.

Shocked Frank allows a new executive to act in this manner!

People here posting that Fiserv is a better brand than Nike are hilarious. Right, right. Fiserv is also a better brand than Disney and Coke. Lmao!!!

Fiserv is also the best place to work 94 years in a row according to the old marketing team! Lol!!!!

This is such a funny post. The fact is that the “Global Brand” or enterprise marketing team was in fact a joke stocked with flunkies. They had no involvement with demand generation or revenue generation for any of the divisions or business units. In fact, it they actually shied away from it. Instead, they focused on cosmetic things like the design of t-shirts or the color palette.

Also claiming Fiserv is Fortune 100 and using that as justification is equally funny. Fiserv is Fortune 100 through its merger with First Data, not through organic growth.

The former enterprise marketing team needs to begin looking for new jobs. Their new leader is exposing them.

They have a point. Former CMO had everyone tied up on busy work that did nothing for the business and had team singing “everything is awesome”.

Forum under JY was a well-attended event who felt a good connection with our CEO and our company. FB didn’t want to continue the annual event when he first took over. He was basically forced to keep it going and he begrudgingly attends it only for the minimal time necessary. She kind of had a point.

You’re kidding right? New Marketing Head is fantastic and exactly what this Company needs. I assume the person who wrote the original post doesn’t like his/her shoddy work product being examined and is being held accountable for once. Thank goodness for the change. Love the fresh thinking — so overdue!

By the way who gives a cr-p. The word is out in North American that Fiserv is not to be trusted. We know the linked in garbage marketing is posting is a joke, Finxact please without a real core behind it it does not scale. Just sell the banking division go back to pushing Clover to the local quicky mart marketing may be able to do that.

Don't come to this board to complain about marketing.

I worked at another company where they brought in a former Nike exec. They basically destroyed what was a good team. Nike hasn't been that great recently nor has the Jordan brand. I wonder why they would bring someone in with no Financial Services experience.

Shocked? This is standard operating procedure at Fiserv. Maybe you are posting to the wrong company's board?
