Did anyone get impacted by the past layoffs on Friday 5/10. What organization were impacted or how many layoffs?

Can’t save your way to wealth. ATT is in trouble
Meant to clarify this is the first round of Wave 2 employees this year. Many more to come!
The 5/24 off payroll round is not part of the layoff cycle. This is the first wave of employees who decided that moving wasn't a good option for them and have chosen to leave. There will be additional waves of other managers who choose not to live their designation later this year.
I was not impacted but I just found out from someone that was. They were told this was a surprise round of layoffs ordered by Legg based on the Q1 earnings report. As usual, leaderships solution to every shortfall is to cut headcount. The person I spoke to had already received the "relocate or leave" mandate earlier this year and had agreed to relocate by EOY. I'm sure the fact that the person is only a few months away from being able to retire had absolutely nothing to do with Legg & HR's decision to lay them off.
Controllers team under Sanders was affected. Not even given the chance to say I'd FTW.
Whoever said the employees quit is wrong. I never was given a chance to say if I'd FTW so how would they know what my decision was. I got the notice May 10, off payroll May 24.
Yeah, I asked some honest questions to leadership on Viva Engage and was told not to question leadership by my management chain. People are watching it and reporting dissent.
I can't wait to get MR75 to get out of this he-l hole. Work quality doesn't matter. It is just right rear end in the right chair, no questioning the flawless leaders who have cut our market cap in half over the last decade. Clearly, the rank and file are the problem.
"Why isn't that being discussed at Engage"
Those affected would be gone soon and probably got other things to worry about now. Those not affected may fear retaliation since its not anonymous.
They didn’t quit they were forced out with severance hopefully. It’s not always cost effective to move to a more expensive market and away from family.
Why isn't that being discussed at Engage?

watch out for your fellow employees better, or you'll reap the karma. perhaps you were part of the reason for their decision?
Talk to your union steward!
