I am surprised this has not made it in yet. But word is UN has announced his intention to leave within a matter of weeks, and SK from FGS is swooping in as the new FIG CIO.

SK was the head of FGS. Moving to the US to become a CIO in FIG is a demotion. Maybe they promised him that JG is on the out and he's next in line.
