It's not "helping more that hurting". When you have this PofS* company on your resume, you are considered over-qualified. I haven't got a single offer since my lay off, and that was over 4 years ago. I hate this company the worst decision of my life that I regret.
People on the outside know Nike has had layoffs but beyond that they don’t know much nor do they care.
Having Nike on your resume is useful. Especially if you can walk into an interview and explain how you added value. Most people know it’s hard to get a job here and that it’s something of a meat grinder. Employers respect the experience.

This post accomplishes nothing but add to the several meaningless threads on this site. It just comes off as unintelligent and lazy.
You need therapy
Why?? Nike is a disaster on the inside but no one outside the org knows or cares.
the reality is most people externally don't know what a mess Nike really is - It is likely helping more than hurting
It’s not like it’s hurting your chances.
If you’re applying to another megacorp they’ll love your years of experience blindly following a cult of personality. Lack of independent thought is valuable to a machine.
