Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Nike Vets, this is the question for you

Since I have joined Nike a few years ago, I have witnessed two layoffs and also a bunch of random firing outside of the layoffs or re-org. After losing almost 5 coworkers in the past 2 years due to "firing for violation company policy" and at least 6 coworkers due to re-org, I wanted to ask this question on what is the secret of you holding your job for so long at Nike? What is the secret of being able to stick around? What are some violations or behaviors or things that can lead to one being fired? Nike vets, please share your wisdom...

Continue to learn and move to an area where the new opportunities exist. Take ownership, continue to outperform, and build relationships.

To get fired, is near impossible. You have to really try. But some do. Seen these:

S-x in the office, fired.
Bring your we-pon to work, fired.
Theft, fired.
S-xual harassment, if peon, fired.
Excessive internet use not job related, fired.
Anger control issues, fired.
Dr-g use, fired.
Low (aka no) performance, fired.
Shoe reseller, fired.
Online fraud, fired.
No work to do, let go.

Sleeping on the job, demoted or fired.

S-xual harassment, Director and up, not fired, protect by HR. Maybe encouraged to leave.
