It's getting harder to find anyone willing to work here because the word has gotten out about how terrible the company is.

“ Hard to find anyone willing to work here?” I know it is hard to believe but there are those of us who sit, do our job and have a work ethic. Yes, Truist is a piece of cr-p. Yes, many of us can’t stand working here. But until a new job comes along, you focus on your job and DO IT and stop whining.”
Yes, Truist has horrible leadership. But want to know what is also causing the demise of this company or any like it? People downvoting this comment or posting a response denigrating it. Just pathetic.
@ddx+1ssjGLUJ Because someone writes about having a work ethic (you might have to go look up the term) and working until you find a new position, that is a bad thing?! We are truly gone as a country.
And go look up the definition of “Stockholm syndrome.” First thing in sounding intelligent is to have facts.
We just lost our Market President. Good guy who found a much better position at a regional bank that is developing a strong presence on top of a very good reputation in the area.
I would agree with the original post. We are losing a lot of good talent and it seems to be significantly more difficult to bring in good talent. It doesn't take a lot of research to know how bad it is here and how they've made things worse for their teammates. The good talent is going elsewhere and avoiding Truist (and I don't blame them). We're going to continue to see a large number of our great resources leave if things continue the way they have. It's disappointing as this (BB&T anyway) used to be a great place to work. Now we have terrible leadership, we're lied to on a regular basis, and they are scaling back all the benefits that we all had (401k match, worse insurance, pension, less discount on stock purchase plan, RTO, flexibility, etc)
The only people joining up north are losers from pnc who they didnt even try to retain. None of them has done anything yet but talk big.
People who succeed constantly work hard no matter the circumstances. Yes it su-ks-but you still build skills for your next role and can get a good reputation.
I guess if you are making $20 and hour in a dead end type role I get it.

This is Stockholm syndrome and victim blaming grotesquely intertwined. This is like a parody of Kevin Bacon's "Thank you, sir. May I have another?" Scene from "Animal House". I'm not going to argue with you, there is no point, I just feel sorry for you that you actually feel this way.
