Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

lifetime swoosh discount

if you make it 5 years. NIKE makes it impossible with lay offs every 3 to 4 years.

Yeah, my family never even asked for my Nike discount, they preferred other brands that’s cheaper and better quality. Plus you can find lots of Nike stuff in TJ maxx and Marshall’s now.

Why someone in their right mind want to purchase over priced sh-t from Nike and put their money in the brand? If the quality of the stuff was good, I could understand but the stuff is not even great! The shoe sizes vary from one model to another. Shoesast only 6 months and do not get me started on appearel... 60 bucks for a b-a? That is uncomfortable and sweat like he-l... A pants that is constantly rolling down from your waist? Ugh.... No thank you!

they have to convert your account from your nike email to a personal one when you leave. they only do that if you have 5 years, otherwise they just disable it.

I had to buy Nike sh-t when I started because I had NOTHING Nike. My family NEVER used Swoosh. It is ill fitting, cr-p construction, and way overpriced even with the discount. I immediately purged my closet when I got laid off. Kept some Chuck 70s, but the Nike sh-t got donated. Hated wearing it when I had to as a “leader”. Won’t miss Swoosh at all and neither will my family. I didn’t go to the Employee store once while I worked there.

Donated ALL my nike gear and kept only my fav chuck taylor.

And got a pair of On. Simple and effective.

Like Nike s leadership should be.

@1jyr false. Retired employees without Nike email have access to Swoosh.com.

Laid off in 2017
I have access to Swoosh and the employee store but other than taking a few out of town guests there, I have zero interest in wearing their stuff. Solomon make better footwear, Lulu & Arcteryx make better clothing.

false. 2fa require you to login with your @nike.com email from time to time and the code is only sent to your nike work email not your personal. so you will lose your swoosh discount, if you want a discount after laid off then buy on swoosh sooner rather than later

Why would you ever wear Nike again after being laid off? Have some self respect.

Why do you need this product if you don’t work here? Buy what you like.
