So I’m curious!!! You are laying all your operations off or outsourcing our jobs to Accenture, so how the he-l does Truist have money to sponsor the PGA Golf Tournament that Wells Fargo once hosted??? The PGA was asking Wells to pay $25 million and they declined, so Truist how much did you pay to sell your employees out so you could be the sponsor of the PGA tournament?!!

Confirmed. Truist named title sponsor of PGA TOUR’s Charlotte-based Signature Event.
Go check it out in the news.
Announcement today.
Just bumping this to the top as a reminder for everyone who got RIF’d.

Don’t worry, StrawberryFrog will create the greatest golf tournament EVER! O Ye of Little Faith. In a couple of years SunTruist will be under 500 billion in assets and easier to acquire or merge.
Truist can’t link themselves to something ppl like and with money and hope they are liked also. The cat is out of the bag. EVERYONE HATES TRUIST. I’m surprised the PGA would accept this sponsorship as it makes the PGA look bad.
Anyone really think Truist can run this tournament the same as Wachovia or Wells had to make it a signature event?
Minimum investment to maximize exposure will be 9 figures. SunTruist can afford it as they just received a 10 billion bonus. Don’t know what they can sell next when they p*ss that away. I can see it now, The Kelly King Invitational brought to you by Truist, or The Purpose and Care Open brought to you by Truist.
Maybe the CMO will get a hole marked in Donta’s name just like the residence hall at UNC Charlotte. Nothing but ego for that creep.
Truist is a purpose-driven financial services company committed to inspiring and building better lives and communities.
It's not only a $25MM investment annually. It will also cost a tremendous amount of money to create "unique ideas to excite fans, business partners and others around the tournament" as referenced in the Charlotte Business Journal article.
Which means it will be a p*ssing contest to one up Wells in an embarrassing attempt to keep up with the Joneses. This will require us to hire a consulting firm to hire an event planner to hire hospitality vendors. And require creating new commercials to air during the broadcast.
Don't forget, we'll bring in the board and operating council for an all expense paid trip for the long week to include expensive dinners and $200 bottles of wine, complements of Bill's limitless corporate card, in an attempt to wine and dine and schmooz the whales.
The ancillary expenses will be tremendous. I completely agree that the ROI must be tracked. How? That's anyone's guess.
I already have second hand embarrassment and the news hasn't even been confirmed.
Yes, the optics are not good but before passing judgement I would like to see the ROI figures on this $25million + sponsorship. Companies such as Truist need to be in the public eye. Whether taking on a sponsorship of this magnitude is a good move remains to be seen.
"They hate you"
This. It's a big club, and you ain't in it.
Make it make sense please

Building better lives and communities for Scottie Scheffler and his fellow millionaires. Team truist, total joke
