Folks - i know this is a layoff site, but i have an interview with Cenovus and was wondering if i can get some pointers on what company values, how to stand out among other applicants, any insider tips to crack this interview? Analyst position

Bear in mind that Cenovus stock price still can’t break $30 when their peers are crazy successful.
Situation, Task, Action, Result. Also think of various situations where you were challenged and had to make a decision.
Don’t mind these whiners who complain here endlessly. They are a very small minority and not reflective of the company. They are laid off folks who couldn’t make it in oil and gas and are extremely bitter that life didn’t work out for them. Good luck with your interview.
IT position.
You will be lucky to last a year. If you do, they will lay you off in year 2.

Company values kissing the boss’s ring, staying silent, not having an opinion that’s different from your peers, and doing the bare minimum. If that’s you, you’re in the right place. If not, RUN.
